Madeira

We chose to come to Madeira Island for our 25th Wedding Anniversary.  We'd heard lots of good things about the island and it didn't disappoint.

We stayed in Funchal for four nights before moving along the south coast to Calheta for three nights.

​

We explored various places and enjoyed the warmth, sunshine and variety of landscapes.  There are several galleries showcasing different aspects of our visits from city and village scenes, coastal views and landscapes of the interior.

This first gallery contains images from around the capital city of Funchal.  There were some fabulous old buildings and plenty of colour.
